December 2009 Boiler Scrappage Scheme:
The Boiler Scrappage Scheme announced in December’s pre-Budget is designed to encourage homeowners in England to upgrade the energy performance of their heating and hot water systems by receiving a £400 cash grant towards the supply-and-fit of a brand new boiler when scrapping their old one.
